We need volunteers to translate Elxis 2008.1 to several languages.
I attach 2 zip files.
The "full" is the one that contains all Elxis 2008.1 english language files.
The "diff" is the one that contains only the diferrences between Elxis 2008.0 and Elxis 2008.1. If there is a language package available for Elxis 2008.0 for your language you don't have to translate the whole 2008.1 language files but just the differences ( very easy and quick work ). Most translators should use the diff package.

Regarding the Italian language.
1. The files I received from both translators (yiannisk, theprincy) were encoded as ANSI. You must encode them as UTF-8.
2. There are some files that they are completely untranslated. Please do a global check in the Italian language for untranslated files. Here are some I noticed:
administrator/language/italian/italian.pref.php
administrator/language/italian/italian.xml.php
administrator/language/italian/italian.com_softdisk.php
administrator/language/italian/italian.com_statistics.php
Re-send your translation to me when finish. Don't forget that the encoding should be UTF-8!

We still miss French language.
Using the diff packages it is only about 1 hour of work...

There is no need to work on the full package for French!
Elxis 2008.0 is already transalted in French. You only need to translate the differences for 2008.1

Done but with a month delay. Elxis 2008.1 has already been released. What should I do now?
We can not publish continuously new versions because someone has modified a language file. Users will get confused...
