Title: XHTML + CSS standards?
Post by: Ivan Trebješanin on February 21, 2007, 11:59:32
When I check the validity for XHTML and CSS standards compilance of the pages generated by ELXIS, they fail the test. Although my design pass with no errors nor warnings (both XHTML and CSS). Why, oh why... I ask myself... ???

I wasn't reffering to 508 validation. I've read the post, though.

PS
I know there IS a way of recoding ELXIS to output semantically correct code, too... But, I'm merely trying to draw developers attention to that problem for the next relese. Keep on the good work. ;)

Please go and check for valid html any large popular site on the web, if you find ONE (1) valid, report it to us. It will be a miracle!

Note: Next version will have zero css errors (ie declarations that are only valid in explorer produces errors in forefox and the opposite). This is the most important issue we look now related to validation.
