Title: favicon.ico not working?

So far i have made the favicon.ico, and uploaded to my domain in the images dir, and edited the filename in the global configuration, but it still won't show my favicon.ico...
I even tried to delete the default and replace it with my own, but no luck, my site is still showing the default favicon.ico... any idea on why this isn't working?

You may use firefox and you must clean Private Data such as coockies , cache e.t.c.!

cleared private data, and tried IE7, IE8 and firefox.

What edited exactly ? the file name , file type ?

it works now, never the less thanks... was the server that were really slow.

just to answer your question i'v tried to rename the favicon.ico to favicon12.ico and did the same in the global configuration.
