Title: google url errors: div%3E and td%3E%3Ctd%3E
Post by: kyomar on September 28, 2015, 06:26:43
Hi Everyone, I am suddenly receiving this url error messages and have no idea where they come from and how to get rid of it. I could put a 301 redirect in htaccess but I would rather solve the problem at the source.
I would be very grateful for any help - Thank you!

We need more technical details as for the generated error. Where did you get this for example? Is
there any further description?

Thank you @kyomar!
Question: Is there any reference url on which google crawler has been detected and try to get access
on the URL that you've quoted us? If you click on that link (in google webmaster tool) you may get
more information about this.

The only sure is that Elxis CMS has not generated such a URL.

Thank you webgift. I am glad to hear that this urls aren't generated by the Elxis CMS. Clicking on the links in Google Webmaster just brings me to our 404 not found page - no more information. I have no idea how to find out from which content this urls are coming from. I probably just include a 301 redirect in htaccess for now.
Thank you very much for your help! As always, Elxis rocks!

Search your server's log files to find out the referrer of these requests.

Thanks a lot datahell for looking into this. I have checked the server log file and found this referral: ...."GET /templates/tiara/css/exit.css HTTP/1.0"..."http://www.website.com/td%3E%3Ctd%3E".
Any ideas what this could mean?
Many thanks datahell for your time!
