Title: testing for php 5.3 compatibility
Post by: xmanhattan on March 29, 2012, 12:24:22
Hello all,

I just received an email informing that my host will be upgrading to php 5.3.  As such I am testing various extensions for compatibility.
The google bot has a problem but I am seeing the following on localhost even after deleting this bot.

The wamp php version is 5.3.1 and the following occurs after replacing the files from 2009.2 with 2009.3 files.
URI: index.php
Path: \includes\Core\elxis.php
Line: 3587
Parameter 3 to boteHide() expected to be a reference, value given

Hi Peter,
The only way is to disable eHide bot until it will be updated.

Yes, so far the google charts and ehide bots are the only problems that I have seen.

Looks like my host upgraded.  I don't know whether datahell knows it but Ajax Vote caused a problem.

I fixed this too for my usage  ;).
Here the working one.

I know Datahell is busy like hell then is better to not disturb him  ;D ;D  ;)
