I saw it live yesterday, it is very good. I think you need only to change the default template settings in some cases and enable multisites in the logo parameter using the "multisite" keyword (see Delta template XML as a sample). We will see it in details the following days after I publish the default content. I have also created a document listing the positions the modules are being displayed in the default content.

Great! Thank you Datahell for all Wink! I will improve it.  It needs some appearance's improvements. Default content will help me to finalize the general layout.

Something I have noticed a long time but I always forgot to mention: the "go to top" button is not good, the arrows are not well visible. On the other hand the hover button is very good. We must also see the "categories" and the "comments" modules, they need improvements.

Is it written from scratch by Elxis developers, or based on Joomla like previous versions?

Joomla and other CMSs', belliash like Elxis (2009.x -) was built using Mambo technology. Unfortunately from Joomla and the other CMSs' ... Elxis 4.0 code name : Nautilus has been developed from scratch. Wink

Personally Luca I don't care what they will do. Elxis has a new license of use. We are in position to automatically understand if they will copy anything from Elxis. They will have already included some features Wink Each community much have a unique existence. This is the deal!

Personally, even if old Elxis releases had their origins from Mambo, I've never been satisfied by NONE of other CMSs out there. And I tested out HUNDREDS! So, Developers behind Elxis are great and they exactly know what they are doing and why.
Period.

Each person choose a CMS through a certain number of criterias. Wink I "stuck" with Elxis because of its organization at all levels.

I will never say that Elxis is the best* CMS in the world, or suitable for all cases and users.
It is better than other systems in some areas, maybe worst than others in some other areas, or it may misses some features someone may need.
The fact is, and this is what I mostly care about, that Elxis has a unique spirit.
Elxis 4.0 is the result of 2 years hard work. I must confess that I still can't believe we managed to complete such a huge project just a few people.
We are proud for Elxis 4.0, and we hope people will love it.
