Ads + YouTube Bots and Elxis versions 2008 or 2009

We lost too much TIME vainly trying to install Bots "AutoAds" (and "YouTube"), etc. at a 2008 Elxis version.

Elxis' notes and references (even at the Forum) say that it works with all Elxis' versions, 2008 or 2009, etc.

But, when we upload the Bot, and afterwards try to install it, a (RED color) message warns that it doesn't work with the 2008 version.

=> What should be done (without losing more precious TIME) ?

- Update your elxis site to version Elxis 2009.3 Aphodite step by step.

It is highly recommended using the latest version of Elxis.

Will the update(s) that you advise destroy the layout of the current website, (so that this would also oblige to re-start anew from scratch a tiresome work already done a long time ago), or not ?

It depends. In case that you are currently using one of the default templates, you will overwrite the edited files with the update process. The default templates are : okto, ekebic, ks-eros and its-elxis3.
