I have been considering that, but I like the simplicity of Bubbles, meaning that it only shows the tittle of the thread and just the content, author and date. I am afraid that eForum is too much for a comments site. I don't want to have a user profile, or having to register to post a topic, etc. Look at my -under construction- website, click on the Cadena de Oración on the top nav bar.....

www.viviendocondios.com

there you will see two dummy posts for testing purposes. This is a site where people can leave praying requests, so I would like to display them with the simplicity of Bubbles...... unless I can configure eForum to look just like the way Bubbles is displaying posts..... I am a bit hesitant on changing the component... I haven't really messed around bit e Forum so I might be missing something here.

I apppreciate your advice Smiley

Thanks!

Your Press News would be excellent for displaying the latest praying requests on the frontpage; hope it is possible. I appreciate your time.

Ciao Webgift,
Seems that Press News conflict with fisheye menu from Ivan is both are in the same page ... (maybe because bot use mootools / jquery).
Is there any workaround ?
Same problem with UCD modules. Fisheye conflict with it too If I use JQUERY CROSS FADER/SLIDER.

I know that the problem is Fisheye. I will write to Ivan. Anyway I ask to you too.

Let me know
Thank you .

Javascript conflicts is the problem when each module uses it's own technology ( JQuery , Prototype.js , Mootools ).
So there are 2 basic section that you can work with.

1st) you can enable each module to be published at different menu items.
2nd) ( Code edit ) If 2 modules uses the same technologies like Mootools you can edit these modules and choose to run from one file both of them. This not means that it will work 100% because it may be using different js libraries.

How I can do the second options?

On your case which you use different js technologies JQuery and Mootools 2nd Step that i wrote you before don't suggested.
I mentioned that in the case of having the same technologies like Mootools and the files that imported on each module conflict each other.

Now the only solution is my 1st suggestion. Wink

Using Jquery and Mootools will create a conflict that you can fix by following the instructions on this website, this refers to the JQuery noconflict mode: http://davidwalsh.name/jquery-mootools

But you can have conflict using the same kind of technology with different versions. Press News uses Mootools 1.1 I believe, and it causes problems with modules that use Mootools 1.2 or 1.3, there is a compatibility file but I have tried it and it doesn´t fix the problem....

Any chance of having the Press News module use Mootools 1.3 ?
