Hi all,

Does anybody know why when you set a module on the Header Position it gets stuck on some other pages ?

I have the    EI Dynamic Slider News1 module to display news above the eBlog Frontpage which dispplays the latest blogs..... but when I do a search the results come up below the eBlog and EI Dynamic Slider...

So the question is, how can I make a module appear in the header position, linked to a menu, but not get stuck in some other pages?

Thanks a lot for your help Smiley

You can assign the module to run on a specific menu items.
Just take a look at the 3rd tab on this module named :  Pages / Items. Keep the ctrl button press and click on which pages or Menu Items you like to be displayed that module.

Hello Pal !

thanks for coming to the rescue Cheesy I have linked the modules to only one Page, which is the first item on the main menu, therefore... the first page you see... When I click on an item called Add new article in a User Menu... and it brings up the Add New Content Form... I get the Two modules (eBlog Frontpage and Dynamic Slider) on TOP of the form.... this also happens with a blog entry, I get the two modules to be on TOP of the entry.

So I guess it may have something to do with a page without a link to a menu, I don´t think this is the reason.... because the Search Results come up the same way.... with the two Modules (Head Position) on TOP of the results from a search and usually a Search module is not attached to a menu, it is usually always present floating around the website.

how come the Frontpage Module is in the same Header position, linked to the same Menu item and it goes away when I get out of the assigned page, only those two modules (the ones I manually assigned to a Header position) get stuck on other pages..... ggggggrrr! Cheesy

Select the menu items that you want these 2 modules be displayed  and i am sure that you will solve it by yourself.
Don't forget that these 2 modules run at module position : header.

thanks a lot mate

I noticed now that when a page loaded on the mainbody is not assigned to a menu item it will go to the first menu item where my Header position modules where assigned to...... so I fix it by assigning the search component to the system menu like you suggested, so from now on I will work aroun it that way

appreciate your help

have a nice day
