Hello

I need to install Elxis 2009.1 on Oracle 9i. In the step 4 I got the error "ORA-12154: TNS:could not resolve the connect identifier specified"; I tried using the service name defined in my tnsnames.ora, but this doesn't work.

could you help me with this?

Tks.

Tanks for your answer.

I red that post before write my question, but that post don't give the information to correct my problem, because I don't know what value is necesary in the field "database name"? is the oracle's service name? or is the string connection's name defined in the tnsnames.ora?

My databse is Oracle 9i and is intalled on the same machine where I want to install elxis.

For your help, tanks.

I am not an Oracle expert and I have to run Elxis on oracle at least one year. As long as I remember you have to use the oracle's service name. Elxis-Oracle support is still experimental. This will change in the future and Oracle will become 100% supported.
