A friend of mine has decided to create a new site using Elxis and has found a hosting company which uses Berkeley as database...

I think that this database is not supported, but just to be sure (as it is owned by Oracle) I post the question here for official confirmation...

Sorry for being late to answer. No dont use that database. Oracle support by Elxis is , in general, experimental.
