From that I know & from that I have read from the website, this Expo, it isn't a CMS Expo but a Joomla Expo - training & promoting seminar.

I don't know IF we are interested for this, but its up to the Elxis Team.

The CMS Association are the ones that put on the CMS Expo.
The CMS Expo for December will primarily be geared towards Joomla but subsequent CMS Expos will include a multiple line of CMS Conference Topics and Training. The Elxis community is wecome to attend this upcoming event as there are a lot of topics that will benefit not only the Joomla community but the Elxis community as well.
Such topics that would be applicable to ANY CMS system would be:

Content is king
SEO
Security
Creating a pure CSS template
Website planning
Promoting your website
Web marketing basics
Biz Continuity: How To Stay Tight When Hell Breaks Loose

So as you can see there are MANY sessions that are not specifically Joomla related.
We would LOVE to see the Elxis community at this event.

I couldn't overlook this heading on your site -> "JoomlaExpo Becomes CMS Expo"
Elxis Community is fine, thank you  Wink

There was an event back in May that was called JoomlaEXPO, but the people that put on the event had decided to change the name to CMS EXPO and open up the conference to multiple CMS lines. It is not always Joomla focused. In fact the next expo is going to be in the spring 2009 and will have multiple CMS lines as  a focus for the entire conference. This is why the Elxis CMS and community is being looked at as being one of those lines that they will be focusing on for that event in 2009.

By the way, this isn't my site. I am just helping them out by trying to bring diversity to this great event.

I had attended the last one back in May and found the event to be very classy and very organized event. They really put on a nice quality conference.
