Hello All,

I am trying to install the Elxis software for the first time. I am running the web installation process and when I get to the database connection porotion I keep getting the same fatal error. I knwo the database info is correct that I am submitting. Please help. The error is below.

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in F:\hshome\techwaba\tekwebasto.worldispnetwork.com\elxis_2006_3\installation\install2.php on line 94

the only items in red during installation are as follows:

PHP version >= 4.3.0 Yes ( 4.4.0 ) 
zlib compression support Available 
xml support Available 
configuration.php  Writable 
Session save path  .\, Writable 

Safe Mode: Off Off   
Display Errors: Off On   
File Uploads: On On   
Magic Quotes GPC: On On   
Magic Quotes Runtime: Off Off

Output Buffering: Off Off   
Session auto start: Off Off   
Allow URL fopen: Off On

To understand, are you tring to install Elxis local in you computer?
If yes I suggest you to trie the Xampp, from apache friends.

I think you have an outdated version of MySQL or a bad enviroment setup. 2 more users had the same problems. Search the forums. Which version of MySQL you have installed?
