Post by: chongbing on January 12, 2017, 22:06:22
Hi datahell,

Is Elxis 4.5 support "Video SEO" ? If not, hope it can be add/enhance into 4.6.
A picture is worth a thousand words, a video as well.

As far as I see there is nothing Elxis can do for that. It is a matter of meta data (keywords, etc) and the video itself. What exactly you think Elxis misses in this case?

Yes, But this one "Wistia's video SEO" Caught my attention. They inject the video JSON-LD metadata into your web page’s header to direct traffic to your site. This metadata includes the video title, description, and transcripts, which all help your video rank higher in Google or Bing.

Check this one.

This feature will be very useful if the content of web pages are videos. Any thought?

You can already set meta keywords and description to anything you want when you add/edit and article containing a video. I don't see something great in "video seo".
