Title: Disqus integration
Post by: mscrivo on February 14, 2015, 05:07:04
Are there any docs on how to get Disqus integrated into an Elxis 4.2 site?  I see that you can select it within the content's component settings, but have no clue where to put the disqus code so that it shows up on articles.

Thanks

Hello!
Select in the parameters of Content Components: Comments source , Disqus
add below the shortname of disqus, (you need to have an account at disqus), and make shure you have activated comments at each category.

I did all that, but nothing shows up.  If I switch to the built-in comments, it does work, but no disqus.  Do I have to add the disqus integration code anywhere?

Extensions > Components > Click to edit "Content" > Tab " Parameters" > Group "Comments"
Comments source = "Disqus"
DisQus shortname = Your username at disqus

The is the global enablement of comments. This option can be overwritten on the category or article level. So make sure comments are enabled there too, or they use the "global setting" value.
