Title: Update Elxis 4.1 to ELXIS 4.2

I'm happy that Elxis 4.2 is now out. How to update existing Elxis 4.1 installation ?

We always wait a few days after a new release to publish an update patch in case a quick fix is needed.

An updated release (revision 1629) of Elxis 4.2 published on elxis.org just 15 minutes ago. This release contains 2 changes:
1. Added captcha in send to friend form as after an examination of a user's site logs I saw that this form was used by an automated remote script to send bulk spam emails. Unfortunately spammer tools become smarter and smarter (imacros [dot] net ).
2. Corrections made on Greek language files.

Ciao Datahell,
I've read the readme and I Just correclty updated to Elxis 4.2 my elxis 4.1 installations. 
I've 2 questions for you.

I've enabled schedule in configuration:

1) How to schedule an article to be published on 16 August 2014 at 17:00:00 ?
2) How to schedule an article to  be unpubblished on 16 August 2014 at 17:00:00 ?

PS. just a little problem. Once installed update  Felx template was not selectable from configuration.
To bypass the problem I removed the flex dir, from server template directory  created a .zip of flex directory content and installed the template. In that way I was able to select flex from control panel.

You can schedule publish date, not time and not unpublish.
Custom crons jobs (schedule anything) will be supported in Elxis 4.3.

Yes, you are right, Flex needs installation. You did it correctly.
The update is supposed to occur on a running site. So changing the template to Flex is not usually what people do. But I will change the database update script in order to install Flex too for those want to switch template. Thanks for the report.

Thank you for your precious info ... I hope you start coding Elxis 4.3 shortly. For me schedule is really usefull option for automate some operation. I use intensively it in ELXIS 2009.x. I'll wait with impatience for Elxis 4.3.
