Hello community Elxis,

I just finished the translation in French (it's in beta need some work) the language folder. I had looking here before to see if there was not another person who worked on it. I board not found then I proceeded.

Also I meet a problem with the following punctuation * ''''''' *:

Exemple in french: The real is * L'utilisateur * or the php code does not support this ponctuation and I'am wrote this * L utilisateur *  but it not correctly.

I tested the installation and the language work correctly but I need to work on many correction.

You can do the necessary checks and test. I made ​​the translation as directed at UTF-8 encoding.

Let me know if you need me to make changes. Overall the french folder work but I need do some correction

Hi,

I corrected the language files in French. It remains a little trouble with punctuation, but it works well on the site.

You can download and test it. Can you give me your comments and suggestions for correction.

I got the French translation  and already add it in Elxis 4.x SVN. It will be built-in in Elxis in the next updated release of Elxis 4.0.

Regarding quotes: Quotes may generate problems in javascript but not all language strings used in javascript. PHP has no problem with quotes as long as they are properly escaped with a back slash. I personally avoid using quotes for maximum compatibility and in order to have XHTML valid output.

Superarticles  (https://www.elxis.net/edc/content/30.html)module has been upgraded to version 1.2. French language added.
