Title: Tiny MCE and Easy Gallery questions
Post by: MarD on October 14, 2012, 16:13:13
Hi,

I'm trying to copy big text to Tiny MCE and it removes the spaces between paragraphs. I tried to change settings from Bots -> TinyMCE WYSIWYG Editor (Remove linebreaks=no, new lines=br elements, paste plugin= yes and the others are default) with no success.
Can anyone tell me what to do to fix that?

The second thing is when I'm using Easy Gallery bot in order to display images from a folder, maximages parameter doesn't work when I'm trying to limit them (i.e. maximages=4).

Thanks,
Marios

Are you pasting formed text/content, by copying it from eg. Microsoft Word? If yes, this is not the right way. When you copy content in that way, it carries lot of "rubbish" into your content.

Correct way: Copy text > Paste into Notepad - looses all that crap  ;D > Copy from Notepad > Paste into TinyMCE editor. From there you can format it.

You're right and this method works... but I need the formation, because I'm tranferring products from my previous site and I want the bells and whistles...
Can I do something about that or I should replace TinyMCE with fckeditor for example?

...and what about the Easy Gallery, maximages parameter?
Any special syntax needed?
