Title: intro page recommendation?

hello all,
which is better?
make a splash page for the homepage for selecting the entrance  language..
or
install elxis ian a subdrectory such as www.deneme.com/yy and make  a html page linking  to www.deneme.com/yy/tr and www.deneme.com/yy/en


it looks weird but i wanna use a fancy flash entrance for selecting the language..

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it's best to avoid intro pages for best search engine results.
You can always have the language choice on your normal page.
Flash is nice to see as an intro, to look at once or maybe twice. After that it becomes a pain, and you could loose people from that.
I personaly hate it when they do that. But that is me.
Just a thought.
Flash looks good when used right, but its heavy, and annoying at times.

i have hesitations about main page regarding seo...
the people find me on google, they dont land to main page..
they land on   my sublinks like www.hdhdhd.com/dshdhdsh
what about you?

the site is  app. 4 years and i have app. 2000 visitors monthly..

Search engines are unlikely to lead to the home page. People will get what is already looking for and will get to a specific page.
Home page better make a separate page containing the maximum information about the site in a small form.

search engine brings the user to the target page upon request in any case
Home Page only for referral links, or the user himself to her gets from the other pages
