Hello there,

I've got serious problems with elxis last release. I have a picture included.

Hi,

The error is related to MySQL settings. Actually the mode MySQL uses.

It has the STRICT_TRANS_TABLES enabled and that seems to be the cause of the problem.

The strange is, that it looks like as it is a MySQL 5 issue and not a 4.1.1 as you reported that you are using.

It is a hosting environment issue. Do you have other Elxis installations on this server? How are they behaving?

If you updated Elxis from version 2006.3 to 2006.4 check if you forgotten to update some files. Download Updiag tool, install it and run the file integrity check (use normal hash for 2006.4). Update any files that Updiag will mark as outdated with those from the 2006.4 release.

All my elxis installation are with one hostingprovider but what Datahell say must checked.

I continue......and come back with the answer

Hello datahell,

I have all what you say done with a new elxis installation.
I've got the error wen i copied a section to another and i wanted the name changed.

It give those action when you have two sections with the same name in it.

This is correct but i have the tool dialog used for sql correction

So, this error only occurs when you try to copy a section, not always. I will check if it is a bug. For now,  avoid copping sections.

This is correct. When i copied a section and then I replace the name or if its the existing name I got this error.

Hi,

I would like to comment that I tried to reproduce the error both in local and online installations and everything worked fine. No error occured.

Test Environments:
1) Fedora
Mysql 5
PHP 5
Copy Section OK
Rename Section after Copy OK

2) Windows with XAMPP
Mysql 4.1.14
PHP 4
Copy Section OK
Rename Section after Copy OK

3) Linux
Mysql 4.1.14
PHP 4
Copy Section OK
Rename Section after Copy OK

Hope that this info will help to pinpoint the cause of the error reported by Haic.

Hello elisian,

It give's those error when you sections give the same name after copy/paste the section.

Maybe is it usefull when someone this do there a warning ?
