Is there a way by which we can have an auto archive facility in the cms. We have the facility of auto unpublishing the content in cms so on the very same lines i think we should be able sucessfully do auto archive as well. Does anybody have any view on this. I might try this if somebody can show some idea or starting point.
Also has anybody tried powerboard and docman on 2008, performs.

Elxis 2008.1 or 2008.2 will have a completely new archive system (and also a new blog system).
New components will be created for handling Elxis archive and Elxis blogs.
The archive will become like a time site map. You will be able to browse in history (years and months) and see archived content for these periods.
The blog will become a real blog like wordpress.
Other updates are also scheduled for Elxis 2008.1/2.
Have patient till the first Elxis 2008.x update.

the new blog system ......give the permissions to users to make their own page?.....is it possible at the future to have this parametr the elxis cms?i mean something like google blogg!

Create their own blog, no. But you will be able to submit articles and afterwards you can filter blog by username.
It is like seeing all the users content items in a special blog so it will look like a personal blog... You will have the option to enable user special blogs or not (display all together in one blog).
example SEO PRO urls:
/blog/ (global blog)
/blog/datahell/ (datahell's blog)
/blog/babis1/ (babis1's blog)
/blog/datahell/article.html (detail article page)
Elxis is a CMS, not a blog system so, don't aspect to create a whole wordpress inside Elxis although it will have the most important features of a blog system.
Please notice that these are still just thoughts. We have not yet started to develop anything.
