Hi Everyone,
I've just installed this template (http://www.joomlart.com/templates_demo.php?template=ja_teline) form JoomlArt. Unfortunately it looks nothing like the demo and all I get is a blank page.
I have no idea what might cause that and I need to get the site up and running in 5 days.
I'm totally lost. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi patricia,
Your template is overcrowded with with PHP logic vars. Lots of changes should be done, since this template is VERY joomla specific. I would start debugging here:
Call to undefined function: josspoofvalue() in <b>/home/YourSite/public_html/elxfg/modules/mod_ja_login.php

euh......... ::)
Thank you for your answer. I'll try and see what I can do. At first, I thought about using Joomla and ease the pain but I so want to keep Elxis...
-
I'm also trying to get some help at JoomlArt.
-
Wht don't you try to unpublish login modul and see what happens?
-
I did and it gave me each time this error: Fatal error: Call to undefined function: get() . And that error would be in $m_menu = $mainframe->get( "menu" ).
-
I've seen all those loops for collapsing modules, etc. Too much code for my taste. I don't believe JA support would help you, since template is not used on joomla. I will take a closer look at the code of this template and report here latter.

Thank you. :)
I should have thought twice before actually getting this template. :-[.

Oh... I forgot to ask, since I've noticed this template is under commercial licence... Are you allowed to modify the code? (Assuming you have payed for it). I don't know much about commercial licencing.
-
I guess not. I should ask?
I suppose I was not supposed to post the file here neither.......
Thank you for the help.

I think you should ask... it's NOT OS or CC licence. The last two I know well, but commercial licence is forbidding distribution, modification, and everything... please ask them. I have never used commercial templates, so I don't know the restrictions they have.
